In the most difficult year, even for the oil competitions, we finally reached the Finals of LEONE D’ORO.
Seven categories, four Italian and three foreign, eight finalists among which will be chosen the only one gold medal by category.
I think being a finalist in a competition that only admits champions that exceed 85/100 range is an extremely rewarding achievement for every producer.
I want to thank all the admitted producers who have done a great job, but now is the time to bow to the Grand Mention of the Finalists.
All the samples have gone through the Caudine forks of Aipol2 professional Panel, first in the Panel room and then with the online tastings, now the choice of the Leone d’Oro will be made by a group of Panel Leaders with experience in tasting olive oil all over the world (Alfredo Marasciulo, Fiammetta Nizzi Grifi, Pietro Paolo Arca, Angela Canale, Marco Antonucci, Maria Paola Gabusi, Pippo Cicero)

WEDNESDAY 27 MAY
The announcement of the absolute WINNERS will be on 11 July (barring unforeseen circumstances) during the great Leone Festival, in the O’Live headquarters in Italy on Lake Garda.
